Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept arguing about which games actually felt good on a phone versus which ones just looked nice in trailers. At some point we figured we should write it all down somewhere other people could read it.

The idea is simple. We play a game long enough to form an honest opinion, then we tell you how it runs, how it handles touch controls, and whether it eats your battery alive on a train ride.,We pick games across every genre we can stomach, not just the trendy ones. If something ends up on the site it's because at least two of us put real time into it and had something worth saying.,Nobody here gets paid by a studio to be nice. We buy or download the games ourselves and if a title is dull we'll say so plainly. Our only goal is that you waste less time and storage on things that aren't worth it.
